Fire Place Mantles

The fire place is often the focal point in a room and deserves a nicely carved mantle piece. Over the years, we have fitted mantle pieces to fire places faced with rock, brick and tile, in formal as well as informal settings.

Depending on the structure of the fire place, the mantle can be attached in one of several ways. For existing fire places we require a photo of the room along with measurements around the fire place.

Carving on the mantle piece might include nature scenes, symbols familiar to the family, Stave Church style carving or most often the Acanthus Leafage which is our specialty. People notice hand work in wood, especially in this age of plastics.
