Tour Norway with Phillip and Else Late August 2011
Day 1 Arrive Oslo Gardemoen airport. Drive north along lake Mjøsa toward Hamar. Have lunch and welcome at Gjestrum farm. See immigrant museum near Hamar then settle in to our hotel in Hamar.
Day 2: Hamar to Lillehammer, visit Ringebu Stave Church then on to Vågå
and visit Valbør or Vågå Stave Church and on to Lom to have dinner at
Brimi Fjellstugu and on to Elveseter.
Day 3: Lunch at Sulheim, visit Lom Stave Church on toward Dovre to visit
Hjerleids School and overnight in Bjorli, dinner at our hotel.
Day 4: Lesja Church, Romsdalen, Kjersem Stall Tresfjord for lunch , on to
Ålesund. Dinner at hotel
Day 5: Visit museums and places in Ålesund Rent new bus. Lunch on our own
Dinner at hotel
Day 6 :Ålesund - Ørsta to visit Myklebust stall, visit Bjørkedal boat
works, Nordfjordeid Horse center. Overnight at Raftevolds in Horningdal.
Visit woodcarver Rolf Taraldset Dinner at hotel lunch on their own.
Day 7 Visit Arne Sølvberg at Fjelli for lunch and music, Nedreberg at
Stryn overnight in Ski. Visit mare show in Førde. Dinner at hotel
Day 8 Visit Norwegian Fjord Horse mare show, Briksdal Glacier Fjords at
Breim, time with host Karl Vie. on to Skie. Lunch on own dinner at hotel
Day 9 to Sognefjord, Flåm rail line, wood carver visit then on to
Stalheim. Visit museum at Stalheim. Dinner at hotel.
Day 10 Visit Voss, agricultural school, visit a Seter for lunch, on to Osterøy
or Hardanger then to Bergen. Dinner at Hotel
Day 11 Bergen -and Home
